1. BMW R1300 GS

The new 2024 BMW R 1300 GS is proudly introduced by BMW Motorrad.  With the R 80 GS, BMW Motorrad created a new market for touring enduros more than 43 years ago. Since then, the boxer BMW GS has been the clear front-runner in the competitive field. The legendary two-cylinder boxer engine forms the core of the R1300 GS vehicle. With a redesigned camshaft drive arrangement and a gearbox under the engine, its new design is more compact than before.

The steel, sheet metal shell main frame, which is at the heart of the new suspension, is not only far more space-efficient than the previous model, but it also provides better levels of rigidity. The die-cast aluminum unit for the rear frame has now taken the place of the former tubular steel construction. More steering accuracy and ride stability are also offered by the updated EVO Para lever rear suspension and the new EVO Tele lever front suspension with flex element. The new R 1300 GS has the very highest level of touring and off-road expertise in an attractive package along with the variants Triple Black, GS Trophy and Option 719 Tramuntana.

2. KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-6R

After the ZX-6R was unveiled during India Bike Week 2023, Kawasaki India has announced that the motorbike would be available in India starting in January 2024. Subtle visual improvements and an engine update to meet new emission regulations are features of the 2024 ZX-6R. The 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R is set to provide riders with a modern and safe riding experience. SuperSport bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R have clip-on handlebars and rear-seat footpegs. Subtle improvements have been made to the design, which takes influence from the bigger Kawasaki ZX-10R. The motorbike now has split headlamps with LED illumination elements.

A variety of rider aid features are offered by Kawasaki, such as power modes, anti-lock brakes, and traction control. A 4.3-inch colour TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connection via the Rideology app is a feature of the motorbike. It also has well-integrated LED lighting throughout.

3. KAWASAKI ELIMINATOR 400

For 2024, Kawasaki is bringing back the power cruiser-tastic Eliminator 400, one of its classic designs. Additionally, it expands the range with the “SE” model, which differs from the standard model with a few small cosmetic changes. With most of the amenities of a cruiser, the bike is designed to provide a dynamic riding experience. With a strong mid-range and tractable power delivered deep in the low rpm zone, a relatively small displacement engine is ideal for accelerating away from a light and away from all the cagers around. The SE veers into racer territory with the additional equipment up front, while the standard Eliminator channels the original.

The 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator goes back to being powered by sport bikes. Its 451cc parallel-Twin DOHC liquid-cooled engine was modified from the Ninja 400 sport bike.  Throttle response is accelerated by the large 32mm throttle valves that allow for enough air flow and the oval-shaped valves that sit at an angle when closed. More engine power and optimal intake efficiency are provided by a 5.8-liter airbox, and the design reduces engine noise that riders may notice as the engine accelerates.  The downdraft intake tract frees up room behind the seat for easier ground reach and improves engine performance overall at higher rpms.

The Superbike Boss

A stiff front brake master cylinder aids in reducing idle stroke, and a 2-piston caliper applies pressure to a 310mm semi-floating front brake disc to provide stopping force. There is a 220mm disc with a 2-piston caliper in the back. Available on a few models is ABS. The Eliminator features 10-spoke wheels measuring 18 inches up front and 16 inches behind. The tires on it are 130/70-18 up front and 150/80-16 in the back. Another reference to the general vintage design is the circular headlight, which has a contemporary LED lamp with dual high/low beam chambers and position lighting to make the headlamp look fully illuminated like an incandescent bulb would. The sleek, broad form of the taillight is another nod to early Eliminator models.

4. YAMAHA R3

Although the Yamaha R3 is launched in December 2023, the deliveries will begin in January 2024. Even though the new R3’s design is three years old, it is unquestionably one of the class’s most attractive motorcycles. Thankfully, the style draws inspiration from the earlier Yamaha R1. It has a stylish fairing, split seats in the sloped tail section, and twin-pod LED headlamps. Overall, the paint quality, fit, and quality of finish are excellent. The lightweight diamond frame of the R3 is supported by a monoshock at the rear and 37mm upside-down forks at the front. The motorbike is equipped with 17-inch wheels on both ends, with front tires measuring 110/70 R17 and rear tires measuring 140/70 R17.

In the features category, the R3 comes well short of expectations. The Yamaha R3 only has a completely digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS, whereas its competitors have features like ride-by-wire throttle, riding modes, colour TFT display, cornering ABS, bi-directional quick shifter, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. This lack of amenities reduces the motorcycle’s value for money, especially given that it is a higher-end model.

5. YAMAHA MT 03

Same as the R3 the Yamaha MT 03 is launched in December 2023, the deliveries will begin in January 2024. The completely faired YZF-R3 and its naked streetfighter variant, the Yamaha MT-03, are essentially identical motorcycles. The motorbike has a broad handlebar and projector headlamp, and its fuel tank and tail portion are identical to the R3.

Similar to the YZF-R3, the Yamaha MT-03 also has a very small feature set. The motorbike has several features, including dual-channel ABS, full-LED lighting, and a digital instrument cluster. However, you’ll have to search elsewhere if you’re looking for electronic ride-assistants like quick shifter, ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS, and ride modes. The MT-03 has a lightweight diamond frame that is supported by a rear monoshock and 37mm upside-down forks up front. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, with front and rear tires measuring 110/70 R17 and 140/70 R17, respectively.

With its bulk forward bodywork and fighter-jet type air scoops, the aggressive face makes this bike one of the coolest looking in its class. Its twin slant-eye position lighting and small LED headlamp also make this high-tech machine ready to punch above its weight.

6. APRILIA 457

Aprilia’s first bike to be produced in India had opened bookings on December 15 2023 and the delivery of this bike will be start from March 2024. The aluminum perimeter frame of the Aprilia RS 457 is supported with a USD fork and monoshock. Preload on the suspension may be adjusted on both ends.

Inspired by the Aprilia RS 660, the new RS 457 is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel-Twin, presumably 457cc but Aprilia’s press materials don’t specify an exact displacement. The Aprilia RS 457 is equipped with throttle-by-wire. The RS 457 has three riding modes: Eco, Rain, and Sport. It also has traction control that can be adjusted on-the-fly.

The first bike equipped with TVS Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tires straight out of the factory is the RS 457. Front tires measure 110/70-R17, while rear tires measure 150/60-R17. ByBre provides the braking duties, with a 320mm front and a 220mm rear disc. The RS 457’s switchgear and 5-inch TFT display have a striking resemblance to the bigger Aprilia cycle, and the whole machine has an air of high craftsmanship.

7. SUZUKI V-STROM 800

The engine and chassis of the recently released V-Strom 800DE provide as the foundation for the 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 800 Touring models, which are more focused on the street. The new bikes, according to Suzuki, will appeal to riders seeking a “performance-minded yet versatile middleweight motorcycle with adventure in mind.” They also provide comfort and performance for sport or long-distance touring, occasional usage on dirt roads, and daily commuting.

The Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 800 Touring models come equipped with a 270-degree crankshaft and the latest 776cc parallel-Twin DOHC engine. The new engine delivers a free-revving burst of performance when needed, along with smooth and regulated power at low engine speeds. Additionally, the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS), a bi-directional quick shifter, and throttle-by-wire are features of both bikes.

The Notable Superbike

The stopping force is provided by a single-piston caliper with a 260mm disc in the back and dual 310mm stainless steel discs grasped by radially mounted Nissin 4-piston calipers up front. The Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), the Drive Mode Selector and Traction Control System (all of which have three modes), the Easy Start and Low RPM Assist systems, and the standard ABS system provide two distinct degrees of intervention. The same 5-inch colure TFT LCD instrument screen used on the 800DE is used to access all of this.

19-inch front and 17-inch rear tires are mounted on brand-new seven-spoke cast aluminum wheels. The D614F/D614 tubeless ADV tires from Dunlop were designed specifically for the V-Strom 800. 8. KTM 390 ADVENTURE

Many style changes will be made to the impending 2024 KTM 390 Adventure, which will have a sleeker, more aggressive look. It sports spoked wheels and the same chassis as the brand-new 390 Duke, but with a revised swingarm. Adventure White and Adventure Orange are two brand-new colour choices. 9. HUSQVARNA VITPILEN 401

The design idea is based on a minimalist approach, which removes any extraneous details to provide a harmonic fusion of classic ideas and modern aesthetics. The Swedish tradition of Husqvarna Motorcycles is harmoniously reflected in this design concept, which is notably displayed in the 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 model. In addition to enhancing its innovative design, the bike’s lightweight and narrow bodywork makes for smooth mobility when riding. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 2024 has a dynamic riding posture with clip-on handlebars and rear-seat footpegs, giving it the appearance of a vintage café racer. The KTM 390 Duke and the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 are similar in that they both have a single-cylinder engine and a Trellis frame. 10. HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 125

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer has unveiled the new, entry-level Husqvarna Svartpilen 125, which has 125 cc. The Svartpilen 125 has many similarities with the KTM 125 Duke. Something similar to like the rest of the Svartpilen and Vitpilen lineup. This is due to the fact that KTM owns the Husqvarna brand. 11. ROYAL ENFIELD SHOTGUN 650

The firm unveiled the SG650 concept during the Milan EICMA exhibition in 2021. It served as the inspiration for the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, a motorbike with a bobber design. Although the actual name of the motorbike has not yet been disclosed by the firm. The initials ‘SG’ most likely refers to Shotgun.

The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a motorbike that is defined by its rider. 12. ROYAL ENFIELD SCRAMBLER 450

Based on the future 450cc chassis, the Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 is set to replace the Scram 411. Although test mules for the motorbike have been sighted sometimes, nothing is known about the new design and engine of the vehicle.

Considering RE’s existing lineup, the Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 is expected to be one of the final motorcycles to be released in India on the 450cc platform when it officially launches in December 2024.

The bike will be powered by the newly-developed 450cc engine, which will make its debut in the Himalayan 450, as the name implies. The motorbike will be constructed on a redesigned frame and fitted with features like wire-spoke wheels, USDs, and a completely digital instrument cluster, to name a few, even though further details regarding the powertrain remain unclear. The motorbike is anticipated to go up against models like the Benelli Leoncino 500, Honda CB350RS, and Yezdi Scrambler.
